Welcome to the Innovations in Long-Term Care Convening, a three day collaboration on the MIT campus to center the co-creation and co-production of knowledge with and for communities of color.
Fellows will engage in reflection and community-building.
MIT Land Acknowledgement The stolen land on which MIT sits is the traditional unceded territory of the Massachusett Tribe, and our forced occupation extends to the lands of other tribal nations as well. We acknowledge the enduring relationship that exists between these sovereign nations and their traditional territories. We acknowledge the painful history of genocide within these territories. We seek to honor Indigenous peoples and learn from Indigenous scholars whose land and communities MIT has poisoned, profited from and ignored across what we now call the United States and Canada.
